In the glass the wine is practically opaque; a dense gem-like purple. On the nose, notes of blueberry pie, garam masala, creme de cassis and cigar box are all at the forefront. The palate is lush, juicy fruit help integrate well distributed tannin. The finish has notes of cedar, green cardamom and gingerbread cookies. Despite it’s depth, it maintains a really fantastic vibrancy.
