De Morgenzon, "the morning sun", is located in South Africa's Stellenbosch region. While vineyards have long existed there, the Appelbaum's took over De Morgenzon in 2003 and have been tending to the 55 ha of vines ever since. Aged in a combination of stainless steel vats and French oak barrels, this Chardonnay has flavours of toasty vanilla, yellow apple, and a touch of pineapple.
